Just getting broken in, My 93 just turned 138K. I think one reason for the long life of these engines is the crank shaft is only like a foot long. anybody have an idea how many main caps the 2.2 has, 2 bolt or 4 bolt?

I am getting ready to install new front fenders, found an killer deal thanks to the efficent people on this board. Before i install them anybody have ideas on what can be done to prevent further/new rust? the achillys heel for this Scoobie

I picked these up off of ebay, $250 shipped. They came with the orig rails/sliders and they were a perfect bolt in. I am 5'10 and I have pently of head room, no sunroof though.
