okay, can you take the cam sensor out wiht jsut one bolt or do you have to take the cover and gear off? It's one 10MM bolt. The sensor slides thru the back of cover. You can remove the sensor w/o removing the covers. There is a rubber diamond shaped gasket that is between the sensor body and cover....

What model year is the Impreza? it's a 95 but i have all the stuff from the legacy, but the camgears and cover might not be legacy On the EJ22T the cam sensor is on the drivers side, near the dipstick tube.
