Hi, I have the opportunity to purchase a leather interior ( door cards as well ) that is the same colour as mine but it is from a '89 BC2 Legacy Sedan where as mine is the '91 GT BC5. Are the models compatible for a swap ?

Should I drive around and go thru the gears to cycle and warm up the oil first before draining? Also, without dropping the pan does some residue remains in this? And finally is it 8.8 litres ( 9.3 quarts - whatever quarts are ) for normal refill ?

The symtoms appearing:
Travelling at 100kph @2800rpm noticing a slight 'jerk' or brief 'null-spot' in action.
Waiting until temperature gauge reads normal operating temp on start up before moving - otherwise it wont ...
