Good luck, hope that solves your problem.

I still see no way for the blower
to draw so much current
that it would kill the battery.

one of the best tech guys around says this in a
post on a similar problem

vrg3 says:
"I am guessing you mean the blower fan. The blower relay sometimes goes bad. It is high up behind the driver's side dashboard. It is a bare metal can with a clear/white connector. "

my pleasure Justin I still believe there may be more than one issue here. All electrical items, headlights, stereo, engine systems all draw power from the same source i.e. the battery. It' the alternaters job to keep the battery charged -- thus the alternator powers everything. ergo Wiring the blowe...

Justin, please tell us what model Legacy you have

I'm lost as to why the battery drained while driving.

This sounds like an unrelated problem that
deals with your alternater

It does sound as if the fuse for your blower
or it's relay is bad

I thank you sir for the compliment and
general Legacy information.

I need to study more as
I am new to the Legacy line up.

By some odd conscience,
I am lucky enough to
have already acquired
four somewhat rare models of them.

Hi Jeremy, yes the GT came with the raised "touring" roof, side skirts, front and rear "ground effect" bumpers. They also have 4 wheel disc brakes and front and rear sway bars. (these items are smaller than the turbo wagon though - I happen to be lucky enough to own two of them a...

Well guys here is an update. First I must apologize for some very poor scientific procedure. There were so many problems and having a unusually nice day for the middle of January well I tackled all I could, meaning I do not know for sure what fixed it. I changed 1) the 02 sensor, put in a Bosch sing...

Driving with an egg under the long pedal. (UPDATED)

First off let me apologize if this is in the wrong section. I don't know if it belongs under engine turbo or electrical My recently acquired 91 SS 189 kmi had no mods whatsoever, had the CEL on when I got it. She ran (operative word) very well, at times the CEL would go out and it would make a bit m...

Vgr3, thank you for the correction.

I don't have a wiring diagram so this statement could be moot.

Does the cruise have an independent brake pedal switch and or
could it need adjusted.

The older L-series had a habit of shutting off like this
due to an improperly adjusted brake pedal cancel switch.

I humbly thank all you fine gentleman for the compliments.
esp AWD Addict for the paint color and code

She has some bumps and bruises - runs real well.
(even with 6 CEL codes)

But ......she sure feels strange (in a real nice way)
after driving wagons for so long.

vgr3 is correct, as usual, so it sounds like it could be a latching semiconductor in the cruise control brain. If this is the case and you do not want to change the brain.... the defrost switch beside the cruise button is a latching type switch you could bone yard a defrost switch and make the subst...

that's what the lowers are.

The set up here to with described
pales in comparission to my L-series
