exactly the same as a car. The ecu has a constant power source unless you turn off the master switch which i dont do till the end of the day when im putting her to bed

are you sure. im pretty sure the stock exhaust that match this turbo have equal legnth thats why you need the different sump as one of the pipes goes throught the middle of where the sump would be

Ur engines must be different. Coz thats def not the case here as the rs engine is closed block as opposed to oppened deck on the sti.
And im sure the sti engine has forged pistons etc and know for sure they have differnt heads etc??

yeah thats how i picked the prob up. when i unplug that cylinder, theres no change. but when i unplug the others it drops that cylinder.

The stock turbo our GTs (auto) is a vf10 and a manual a vf8.

yeah thats right. Depending what engine it is if you boost any more tah about 14 the injectors wont be able to keep up and you may melt pistons.
First thing i guess would be to get bigger injectors and then i guess upgrade ur fuel supply. ie fuel pressure regualtor, bigger lines etc..
