1990 FWD Sedan needs a swap...
I know I'm probably going to get smacked with the search stick on this, but I'll take a chance on it anyways. I have a 1990 Legacy sedan FWD, 5mt with a blown engine. I sold it many years back to a friend and he liked to hang out on the rev limiter a lot. I am currently in possession of a 1995 Legac...

im about 2mm from scrappin this car
I know I have posted about this problem before, but it still remains and no one that I know seems to be able to help...that's you all in your amazing knowledge of BC's come in. My Alt/Power Steering belt has the strange tendency to break rather often and I am at a loss on how to correct it. Thus far...

One of my managers recieved a ticket for doing 70 in a 45 and managed to get a ticket a week later for doing 90 (I was behind him doing about 75 in my corolla) in the same 45 zone. First offense he lost his license for 6 months, second offense he lost it for a year. I predicted to him once in Januar...

Well I guess somehow I missed your post when i was searching, sorry about that. Rolling is when you bend in the small lip around the fender well and can be done with a bat, heatgun, and some patience from what i understand. Thanks for the responses guys.

Yet another "does it fit" question, sorry guys
Well I have finally saved up enough dough to get some rims, and i have a few questions about fitment(yes I have searched quite a bit, but time is a factor here). I was looking into the Rota Sub-Zero's, 17x7.5 with a 225/45-17 tire. My 90 LS sedan will also soon have GR2's with either H&R's or so...

Well...
Mainly its the fact that my car has been painted black, the AC was juct converted, new clutch, and new CV's all around, plus there are only 53,000 miles on the actual car.
My car is a 1990 Legacy LS.

Thanks guys
Yeah I thought it over more thoroughly and realised that even without an engine swap, I love my leggy too much to get rid of it. I will definitley have to look into purchasing an SS and just ripping out the engine seeing as my LS looks like I want it to and I would have to repaint the SS, etc etc. W...

Leaving the World of Legacies
Well I'm sorry to report that I think I'm going to have to leave the world of BC ownership. After finding out that an EJ22T swap is gonna cost me upwards of $5000 to complete  , I've decided to stop pursuing Legacy performance. I think I'm going to move in to the world of the Nissan 240sx, un...

Currently my car is in another state being repair, so at the moment I can't answer that question. I should be able to tell you by the end of the month though.

Well we have gone through 2 people learning to manual on it (including myself
) and I do enjoy a good launch every now and then. That and the woman we purchased it from rode the clutch rather constantly when she drove the car which wasn't very often.

How about lowest mileage on a BC/BF ?
Currently my BC is at just over 56,000 miles. Unfortunately, I've been through 2 clutches and countless Powersterring/Alternator belts.

Wow I think I may be the biggest and youngest guy on this forum
. I'm 17 but I'm 6'6" with a size 15. It's a bit of a PIA to drive my BC, but i think it's worth it.

91 Turbo Bumper
I know this question will result in a "search and ye shall find answer", but I figured I'd throw it out here anyway. I recently purchased a bumper from 1st Subaru Parts that is meant for the 91' Turbo in order to replace the bumper of my 90 LS, which was damaged in a small accident :( . I ...

Well as far as tension goes, I usually leave about 1/2 to 3/4in of flex on the longest gap between pulleys. I dont have the car immediately available, so i cant really check the pulley alignment, but I'll have the man who is woking on it take a look. Also, seeing as it is a rather old car, would the...

Belt Breaking
The alternator/power steering belt on my 1990 Legacy LS seems to break quite often. I thus far have had to replace it 4 times and the car only has 55,000mi on it. I replaced the power steering pump recently because it seemed to be functioning poorly. Currently the car is Iowa having a good bit of re...
