1990 FWD Sedan needs a swap...

Post by fireytom »

I know I'm probably going to get smacked with the search stick on this, but I'll take a chance on it anyways.

I have a 1990 Legacy sedan FWD, 5mt with a blown engine. I sold it many years back to a friend and he liked to hang out on the rev limiter a lot.

I am currently in possession of a 1995 Legacy Wagon, 5mt, AWD and was wondering what kind of undertaking swapping the engine and AWD into the sedan would be.

Anyone have any input?

It would be greatly appreciated.

Since the '95 MT does NOT have the EGR (AT does), you should be able to just swap intake manifolds and go.

Swapping the AWD I'll leave up to others on here....but do some SEARCHING and you'll find it.

Remove all the old stuff out of the 90 then start putting all the stuff from the 95 into the 90. It is all a "R&R, remove&replace".
