sometimes when driving i can smell gas, the fumes. i keep on thinking its that charcoal canister? but not sure if i should check it or not? do they ever need replacement? will it help economy? its that thingey that takes up the gas fumes and returns them to the gas tank? right?

plus with a manual u have 5 gears, not 4 like us autos, so u can go faster at lower revs. just out of curiousity, how many revs u do at about 100kph on 5th gear.

how is ur new exaust different? and how come before the exaust ur getting such good milage, on highway best im getting is around 15-16 mpg (i did the conversion yay). everything seems fine with the car, except i havent done oil changes for a while, and never changed oil in differentals or tranny? u ...

ya almost forgot that these cars MUST have premium gas, so ya prettymuch over a dollar fo r sure then.

oh one more question over here i think its shell or sunocco, but they have a 94 octane gas, is it worth the extra money? or stick with the 91

humm. now that u meantio it, i dont reacall EVER filing the tank full, usulally put in like 10$ at a tiime. but if my calc's right, im gettin about 300 km per tank
and thats a generous estimate. 10$ of gas gets be about 65-70 km, and at almost a dollar a letre here, its not looking so good.

ive got a 91 legacy turbo 4wd, sporty thing. its a auto though so 4 gears. just wondering whihc is the most ecomomic speed or rpm to go by. since the turbo kicks in around 2200 rpm, should i be going before the turbo, so with the turbo on full blast? casue i tried it on highway going 2200 rpm at aro...

i understand that, and its y i said on a stock setup, without a ic. and on a range mabye from 8 to 14 psi, i would like to know which would be most effieient, and how much power i can get out of it at most.

well ur talking about a na setup with a turbo, i was hoping for more of the figues for a stock turbo, and even if it is around 7 hp per psi, isnt that too low, considering that a 89 supra turbo gets around 17 hp per psi.

what is the hp tp si ratio fror our cars, meaning that if i increase the boost by 1 psi howmuch more hpo and torque will i get, and what about 2 psi, and so on

like title says, on a stock 91 legacy turbo, what is the max speed u can do , and how long would it take, also what ar the 0-60 , 0-100 times for this car? and if anyone knows that is the limit on the g skidpad too?

it might rust , and it might cause a disruption somewhere else, like somehow get into the intake traack, and mess with crap inside, also, rust, and also steam, created by the ewater on the turbo, whichis hot as hell.

ok u guys need to explain to me these numbers, i hear a lot og 16g going around, now 18g and 20g, what do they mean, is it the size of the turbo?

OHHHHHHHHHHH, i thought that the hot air goes up out of the turbi, so now it makes sence, that it forses cool air by the turbo to keep it cool, by forcing the hot air down. so what about turbo cars without hood scoops? how would they release the hot air? also on cars that are twin turbo, would u nee...

but isnt the scoop connecteed to the turbo?, what happens to the hot air from the turbo once the car is movieg, in relation the the scoop?

NICO I WRX U how come with such a free flow system ur turbo spools up so slow? is it still a stock turbo or a bigger one, casue i thought stock spool up very fast, at like around 2200 like mine dows. and dzx are u saying that getting a big turbo that takes long to spool up gives u better milage, cas...

do i not hear it casue its not producing enough or any boost? also it makes sense to vent hot air, but when ur actually driving doesent the hood scoop "scoop" up air and put in under the hood somewhere? if so isnt that bad then becasue its not doing its job and all that hot air is gonna st...

so waht are the most major components of passing the emission test.

and u also have to take into consideration the difference with each place, like here incanada the test might be easier or harder then in the usa.
