If I read correctly, EJ20G Heads would require a matching Intake manifold?
Would my stock Ej22T Exhaust headers bolt-up to the EJ20G heads?

Got a great deal from John (scoobiedoo22) on a set of Motor and Tranny mounts off a WRX.
Looking forward to installing these, and props to John for a smooth transaction. Definately I guy I would do business with again soon!
Take care all!

WRX TD04 Swap Q'S
Hey all! I've successfully installed my SAAB I/C a few weeks back, and now I'm planning to install my WRX Turbo on the car. I am on vacation from work, but I only have a one day opening to get this installation done before my Girlfriend gets on my case!!!! LOL! I'm not too worried about the install ...

great!
Great thanks guys! I had it pretty much figured out ... just needed some feedback. Apparently OEM Turbo mounts are some sort of Gel filled, and N/A mounts are more standard rubber filled. I have always thought that rubber filled might be better than "gel". Are OEM WRX mounts gel or classic...

Motor mounts
Hey all, will EJ22 motor mounts mate up to my EJ22T? I have none to compare, however I can easily find motor mounts at the local JY for an N/A Legacy, Turbo Legacies are rare in my neck of the woods ... even more rare in the JY's. My guess would be yes, 'cause I'd doubt Subaru to have made two diffe...

Just as a reference, my I/C setup cost me 50$ (and that includes a 12 pack of beer ;) ) 35$ I/C 15$ Beer If you don't have any hoses on hand, just sacrifice the beer and buy hoses and clamps for the same price.... then just put the beer on the normal weekly grocery expenses ;) Ebay is great for the ...

Well, I didn't pick up much information on the subject around here. I had already plumbed a few I/C in my previous cars so I knew where I was going, and what I was getting myself into. All in all, you will need a few things. Assuming you are going with a SAAB 900 I/C You will need the following: - S...

BTW BAC5.2 if you drop those 60ft times from 2.4 to 2.1-2.2 you'll be running .8 - 0.6 faster at the end of the 1/4" You'd be able to get into high 14's low 15's if you launched just a little harder. In my experience, 0.1 faster on 60ft adds up to almost 0.3 faster at the end of the quarter. An...

No I ran a 15,682 at the track (2.14 60ft time cannot be measured on the G-Tech ... not on my model
)
No I just want to try one or two runs on the G-Tech to measure the performance difference.
G-Tech in my experience has always been maybe 0.2 - 0.3 off. But it gives a good idea

Heat Soak definiately seems to be a problem, but there isn't much we can do about it right? I trapped a 2.14 60ft. time when I ran my 15,68. Anyways, I'll fool around with the I/C plumbing today, reset to 9psi and I'll try to get a G-Tech run in today just for the sake of it! I'll keep you posted.

SAAB 900 I/C Installed
Here are 4 letters of worthwhile advice: Do it. Quite simple to install and in my opinion helps a whole lot on performance. I can personally say that my car feels much faster now than it did without the intercooler at a lower boost level (8 without, 5 with IC.) EGT's have dropped as well, however I ...

How slow is it?? Did you un-hook and rehook any vaccum lines? Is there a check valve on your line to your gauge? Other than that, I believe that a seized turbo would be a possibility... If you had a leak (IC hose or something) , I wouldn't recommend driving around for a long time with the leak. Ofte...

I hope everything is allright....
As to switching over to mineral, anybody see any down sides? Would it help my problem?

Hey everybody, I'm in some sort of bind here. Car has 270k km (150-160k mi). Well kept car, runs great, doesn't "take" any oil at all, 1 bad lifter clicking away, but nothing to serious. Compression is a little low... but nothing alarming. Engine is running synthetic oil. Recently, my oil ...

1/8" BSPT? BullShit Pipe Threads?? Hehe, I've heard of straight pipe threads with O-rings, NPT threads, but BSPT I have no clue what you are referring to!! Anyhow, I will definately try to find the right fitting for the job and hook up a mechanical gauge. As a safety. If I remove the stock sens...

Good pointer there, I have noticed that there is NO gasket under there, but only some blue sealant that doesn't seem to cover much... I will definiately check that out.
Thanks!

I'm located in Quebec City, Canada. I strongly doubt any Turbo Legacies in any junkyard around here.... This problem is a real pain.. Just a quick one, my oil light *sometimes* flickers on on idle and sometimes doesn't. Oil pump was replaced, and I am starting to suspect a bad sensor. Could any one tell me of a nice and easy place to hook up a mechanical oil pressure sensor?? I quickly checked around but my lack of knowledge on th...

Hey everyone, I've got one heck of a problem here. Here is the situation, my car smells gas, but not when it's parked, just as I drive, or as a turn a long corner... I have checked for leaks, replaced fuel filter, injector o-rings (both needed to be done) but still the car smells. The gas tank appea...

EGT
EGT is right in the jonction between the two runners on the pass side (1-2 or 3-4?) .... therefore maybe 2-3 inches from the exhaust port. Anyways, It runs a little lean, so I'm not stepping into it too much. Clean up all my fuel related components and see what goes on. Anyone ever tossed the canist...
