Unexpected Surprise (voltage regulator)

I just replaced my Coolant Temp Sensor. (Tip from Josh). No doubt a good investment. (Engine was sputtering before and after shifting). Problem still existed; until I swapped the ALTERNATOR. Turns out a "spike" in the voltage regulator was the culprit. So far so good. This Legacy was the b...

My directionals don't work at all. I just got an opinion to check (or replace) the Hazard flasher switch wich sounds logical because if it's "on" all the time it could disrupt the directional system.
I fix digital copiers and printers for a living; and damn if this car's no different.

Very useful diagrams, but if my directional problem is in the wiring? or the Leverswitch that diagram may not be too helpful.

I just cut some (4) 2"x3" pieces of an old tire and slipped them inside the housing in the rear deck (while jacked up). No more bumping at least. Then again, I'm thrifty (cheap) :!:

Where's the coolant temp sensor ? ?

Where's the Coolant Temp Sensor ?
I just bought a legacy for $300. (so far the best running car ever).
according to Legacy777 the coolant temp sensor should solve my problem(s). When it gets hot, after about 10 mins engine sputters before and after shifting.
