I finally changed the O2 sensor and problem solved.

After cleaning the IAC Solenoid, the problem was still present. I unplugged the O2 sensor and now it idles just fine. when plugged it'll idle funny. My new question is: Is a faulty O2 sensor automatically to blame? or can it be the MAF or something else? basically unplugging the O2 sensor just puts ...

Should i use brake cleaner instead of carb cleaner?

Hi all! I'd like to know at what RPM should i be getting full boost (8,7 PSI)? It seems that at 2800-2900 i'm at 6-7 PSI and the car seems to hesitate to go to 3000 then, finally i'll get my 9 psi. Finally someone with the same problem... I don't seem to have that hissing sound though...but i'll check. this problem showed up after i had my timing belt replaced. I had the timing double checked so its ok. I also changed the fuel filter. At around 2800 i get the hesitation (surge) and i'm at 4-5 ...

finally i took it to the dealer, It turns out my timing was ok.

It was my pressure exchange solenoid valve that was stuck. Put in a little brake cleaner and the power magically came back. I also changed my fuel filter.

i had gone back and they checked the timing again and told me it was ok. I guess i'll have to go somewhere else to have it checked.
