no spark
OK Lee,thanks! I was just using a regular snap on test light to see if I had a current from the plug going into the coil pack when the key is on. Hopefully today I will check my codes and determine what I will be needing to replace.

I am tracking down a coil for it now.If I am getting power off the lead going into the coil using a test light my guess is the power stops there, never getting to the plugs. What do you think Skid? Found the plug for checking computer codes on the car but not sure what to look for or even how to scan...

Replaced timing belt, still no spark!
Finally finished replacing the broken timing belt on my 91 Legacy non-turbo 2.2, upon inspection while turning over the engine I have found that I still have no spark! If I have power to the coil does that mean the coil is bad?

91 Legacy cranks but no spark!
91 Legacy turns over but no spark to plugs! Checked the coil per Haynes manual checked out OK,getting power to the coil. Does this mean the ignitor is good if I get power to the coil with the key turned on? If it's not the ignitor what else could it be? Bought this car for $200 because the previous ...
