:-D that's right, much love to the turbo wagon, shame it didnt have a more mass produced engine, else this might not be happening now.

I love the wagon and really want to see a true fan get it and love it like I have, so thank you and keep spreading the word for me

cant do, moving in 9 days have no where to store car now, and i definatly need a motor under my bike to get where im gonna have to go.

so the wagon is here for now but it needs to be with you.

the engine stoped running after I attempted to change the oil pan and valve cover gaskets. ran fine before, but doesnt now. the engine needs work. compression is low on the passenger side cylinder bank. I was in the junkyard and found a 91 NA lego wagon with a 5 speed so me and my friend took it out...

anyone try a 5 speed conversion to a legy wih ABS?

I just picked up a 5 speed transmission and linkage plus the little hydraulic and spring carrier under the brake booster but I have ABS on my touring wagon....... will i need to make new hard lines or is there another way around this?? there are 3 lines into the thing and I want to run a 5 speed lik...

Why is there no valve adjustment possible on the 2.2L turbo?

one might think that to be a pretty vital adjustment espectially when running something as precise as a turbo.

Has anyone here ever swaped rocker arms from a 2.5L or 2.2L N/A before?

If so clearances are marked out as .008 in intake .01 in exhaust, correct?

dude there is really not that many out there. the turbo wagon at least 89-94 models are rather few and far between, with more outback turbo wagons from 95 on.

have you been searching autotrader and such?

ok sorry so long to respond but in answer to your question if the collant passeage was messed up, this was my original concern because after breaking a bolt off in the head and trying an unsuccessful easy out I thought I had drilled into a passage thus why I replaced the head. as far as the fuel lin...

headgasket is new on that side fuel is kinda old but it wasnt when i started working.

spark plugs are new and i havent tried the coil yet, but it may be worth a shot...

double checked everything the radiator and coolant lines and found nothing wrong, but i did a full oil change before this video was shot.

ok here it is, the car tries to run and when it does run i rev to about 3-3.5k sound like crap... :cry:

side note the sound is off by about 1 -2 seconds it will sound like the car revs on its own after i left but i blip the throttle twice

replaced with fresh oil, and oh yeah as far as camshaft timing is concerned i checked it 3 times before i bolted everything back on, turns out the camshaft belt sprocket was a little loose, not sure if that could have a ton to do with it but after lunch i a gonna try it again, also head was replaced...

yes the car is turbo and seriously bucks if tryied to be cranked, so i stopped disconnected the fuel injectors and the coil and checked my compression, it was normal around 170 on the drivers side bank but the passesngers side bank of cylinders put only 90-110 i added some oil to the cylinder and bo...

what say you to dropping the oil pan and sump, then with the crankshaft right above you, just disconnecting the rods for one bank and sliding the pistons out? possible or has it been tried?

too much, obviously you understand the annoyance one feels working on that engine with it in car, mind you this though Vincent i have the new head gasket on no other gaskets exhaust or otherwise, and was in horrible disrepair, thus bolting it all back on should work. all I am looking for is anyone ...

well to put it simply doing it right is just out of the question, there is no time and no money. besides compression is only bad on one bank of cylinders and i just want to get the beast running again.
