On my old tranny with 130k or so miles I used it and it seemed great until it broke from an unrelated issue.

I would think that since this fluid has better specs at the temperature extremes it would help to keep your transmission in a consistant characteristic no matter the condition.

The band can be adjusted. However it only effects 2 and 4. If the band was completly broken you could still get first.

If you find an auto with the correct rear differential ratio any year would be fine.

I have partially dissambled the rear and I spoke with eastbaysubaru about this very topic recently.

You can press the stud out but the parking brake gear may get in the way, so you may need to remove all of it. Eastbaysubaru replaced one of his on a turbo wagon.

The only reason the Honda Civic crowd has a decently fast car is from weight and low drivetrain loss. If you look at the power curves generated by the stock engines its fairly average. If you want to see a quick car you would be amazed by my friends geo metro. That thing is wicked fast and handles d...

Remember, overtightening the lateral link to wheel bearing housing bolt/nut will cause the wheel bearing to repeatedly fail and needing to replace the spindle. Be careful. I suggest purchasing the MRT adjustable arms. Have you priced the rear links? When I was going through this I found the MRT ADJU...

If I remember right Im using the 22mm front with upgraded bushings and endlinks then a 18-20-22 rear bar with upgraded bushings, mounts and end links. The bar is a perfect fit on both front and rear. When upgrading the bar think about upgrading the mounts or strengthening them otherwise. The little ...

OH! Well there you go. Why not just order the bar then? You would end up with not only a larger bar but new bushings on the mounts and new bushins on the endlinks.

Dirty IAC valve. The procedure has been posted a couple times on other sites, but in short you have carbon dust build up that is making the idle controller stick. Easiest way to clean: Remove pcv valve Remove top (electronic portion) of IAC Remove hose for the IAC at the intake side Fill hose with p...

Darn, you guys forget quickly. I must have type a reply to messages like this 10 times already. The leaking comes from the cracking black sealant under the rails.
