Recommended Oil for rear Diff?

Just curious what everyone is using? I'm pretty sure I'll be using some synthetic when I change it next, but I'm not sure which one to use. What's everyone here using?

I use Valvoline 80W90 SynBlend gear oil in my diff and manual tranny. The only problem I had changing mine was how stiff the plugs can get!

Red Line 75W90 Gear Oil.
This is specially formulated for LSD if you have one.

Easily available, Mobil 1 full synth 75w-90 for front and rear diff.

subyluvr2212: No kidding they can get stuck. I wasnt able to change it on the rear of my BC legacy (bf was fine). I used the correct size and bent the INSIDE of the plug :o

How much fluid in the front and rear diff? I know the answer is probably in the book, but I'm lazy and it'd be helpful to have it in this thread :D :oops: .

I am using redline shockproof, I belive if you get 2 quarts it will be enought to do both diffs. I think the rear is .7 quart and the front 1.3 quarts.
We have two seasons in Miami, Hot and Hotter!

Just realized someone recomended LSD dedicated lubricant. YOU DONT WANT TO USE IT!! The LSD is a sealed unit, friction modifiers arent needed. All you are doing is creating more drag in the differential.
