JDM Black Leather MOMO steering wheel For Sale
This is a three spoke steering wheel used on Legacies in Japan without cruise control. I bought it from a vendor in Hong Kong as a no return as-is purchase and it would not fit my 91 Leg with cruise control. Recently found another JDM four spoke MOMO black leather steering wheel with cruise control ...

Re: Want Legacy Headlight washers
Not yet, but they are the retangular foglights that were installed on the 1989-1991 JDM GT sedan and wagon and the 1989-1991 JDM RS sedan.
If you want to PM me, I can send you a photo of the EDM combined duty washer tank for the windshield and the headlights.

Re: Want Legacy Headlight washers
I have a set of JDM foglights that I can't use. I'm assuming that you have wired your turnsignals and your parking lights to the EDM corner lenses right?
Any pictures of your car? Inside and outside?

Do you have JDM foglights that go below the bumper where turnsignals currently are?

Re: Want Legacy Headlight washers
Purchasing the parts from Europe is going to take some legwork. Literally. I have a friend in Europe who pulled the entire system from a junkyard. All European Legacy have them except the 3rd generation (1999-2003). First and Second generation have a separate switch mounted on the dash that activate...

Re: Want Legacy Headlight washers
The headlight washer system is only available on European cars. The parts can not be purchased new or used in North America.

Int'l '89-'91 Leg brochure collection available for scanning
I've managed to collect a large amount of pre-facelift Legacy brochures (16 from Japan alone) plus USA, the UK, Germany the Netherlands, the Australian Liberty and one brochure from Quebec (printed in French). I would like to make them available for viewing, but I don't have equipment to scan the co...

http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o61/smh0101/HeadlightWashers.jpg Here is the pic he emailed me... Got any of the washer tank? How did you wire them up? WIth the windsheild washer fluid? I did manage to find a spare system (washer tank, hoses, dash switch and nozzles) that are now my spare parts,...

I also have the climate control and I know that the heater blower won't come on until the engine temp begins to rise, but the defroster button goes to full blower speed to keep the windshield from fogging up. My blower will come on once the engine temp begins to rise and the engine doesn't have to b...

Want Legacy Headlight washers
This is an old discussion, but I started it and wanted to let any one know that the washers have been installed and they work perfectly. This Monday I will try to upload photos of the squirters in action. The Euro washer tank hold a gallon of fluid, and the washers pretty much pressure wash the head...

Need '91 LH fender and front bumper in White Mica
I am looking to replace a rusted fender and paint peeling off bumper. I live in Denver and discovered this color is rare. Any suggestions other than repainting bumper and fender from junkyard or dealer stock?

Good choice. To install it correctly, it would probably take a LOT of determination. God help me if anything goes wrong on my system. Consider also: 92-97 SVX's have this same system. I'm willing to bet also that they share the same set up. So, in that regard, I bet it wouldn't be that hard. ...

Re: Automatic climate control
So I was poking around at the junkyard today and I came across a 91 wagon with an automatic climate control unit installed in it. I had no idea these existed, and I'm wondering about the compatibility. There were what looked like motorized controllers attached to the adjustments for the temperature...

There is one safety feature that all EDM cars have and most European cars in USA have that all Detroit vehicles and Japanese USA cars don't have that I think should be...rear fog lights. That way, in bad weather, drivers behind you can see you instead of hitting you in 30 car pileups that seem to h...

I agree with you. I havent seen any legacys here with this simultaneous system. I just found a repair shop in the UK who says he can supply all the parts I need to install on my car. I am having him confirm that no separate switch is needed and that I'm purchasing used parts (UK dealer quoted me 50...

I am, you are looking for a legacy first or second generation? You also need the pump and switch probably. But probably EJ22_SLO will get them easier than me. :-D I have a first gen 1991 LS. I have been in contact with UK mechanics and I've been led to believe that the headlight washer pump is wire...

I could check for them; will let you know in few days. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. From what I understand about European Legacys (UK and I saw photos of German Legacys) they were installed standard with the headlight washers. I can't understand why Subaru won't install them on USA...

How do I post my request on a UK discussion site?
I called a UK Subaru dealer and he gave me all the part numbers needed to install the system. But, before I pay UK retail prices, I'm trying to find the parts used in the UK. I have contacted 6 junkyards in the UK with no replys. If I could post my question on the part of this site that has UK users...

Want Legacy Headlight washers
USA Legacys are not manufactured with headlight washers and I'm trying to locate used washers to retrofit onto my USA Legacy. I understand that UK Legacys came with headlight washers as standard equipment. Does anyone in the UK know where I can find the nozzles, bumper clips and headlight washer pum...
