I have the same problem with my thermostatic switch. I've found that grounding the "L" terminal on the thermostatic switch cycles the compressor back on. Here's another post where I've commented in more detail on this issue. http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=36434&highlight=...

okay, so I have a similar problem. My AC will blow ice cold for a couple hours on a long trip. then next thing I know it won't turn on at all. I did some searching and found a similar post about "clicking AC". http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=32066&highlight=thermostatic I ...

I started getting intermittent low resistance readings (~40ohms) on the left rear sensor. The sensor was shorting to the chassis. I could make the short disappear by loosening the speed sensor mounting bolt on the wheel hub assembly. Anyway, I replaced the sensor and everything is functioning normal...

Yeah, I tried cleaning the sensor. Afterwards, I back probed the ABS connector while spinning that wheel and got no response. The other wheels give an AC signal when I do that. I do get a circuit resistance around 1 Kohm, which seems to be in family with the other sensor circuit resistances. I pulle...

okay so I figured it out. You have to ground the L connector and then turn the car ignition to run. Then you disconnect and reconnect the L connector 3X to reset the codes. When I did it this way the codes cleared. When I couldn't figure out how to clear the codes, I was turning the ignition to the ...

so I've got a 94 L wagon with the ABS-2E system. The light came on so I grounded the L connector and read the codes. Now I want to clear them, but grounding the L connector 3 time in 12 seconds with the key in the run position doesn't do anything! I tried pulling the battery cables for a good hour, ...

So I pulled the outback rear sway bar. It was a 95 or newer outback. I'm not sure the exact year. It fits my 94 legacy L wagon. It does rub the exhaust axel back section. Perhaps, longer rubber hangers would prevent this from occurring.

I'm a bit confused. Professor you mention that there are rear lateral link bushings included in the engery suspension master bushing set. However, I checked the energy suspension website for the set (part # 19.18101) and it does not include the lateral link bushings. I called energy suspensions hotl...

So Professor did the rear 18mm outback bar work? I've got my eye on one in the local pick and pull. For that matter will the 20mm outback front bar fit on a 94 BJ?

Splinter, do you have a part number for the replacement endlink bushings you got from the subaru dealership? $10 sounds more like it for refreshing some endlinks.
