If the right offer comes along, I'll pawn it of early. This is a 1991 Legacy Sport Sedan, with 161k miles on the chassis. It...

Yeah, i always spray paint mine black, you just have to be careful to not go too thick with it. You want to get the lightest coat possible, so that you don't ruin the heat sink properties of the intercooler.

I now look up and can see the white sealant that squeezed through and is now visible, so I am going to use some brush-on touch-up paint to cover this up. Its clearly for looks, but it will make me slightly happier.

And I'm still fighting that damned loop! I cant get it to all fit, lol.

There are usually differences like weld quality, number of fins / inch, etc.... But often, the cores are copied from expensive designs, so thats how they end up being the same. One thing I will let everyone know to look out for is bad end tank design. Some of the cheap ones use really poorly designe...

For you guys who know what you're talking about, give me your true opinion of ebay intercoolers like this. They are all over there, and you can get kits do fit WRX's and STi's for like 250 bucks shipped. They quote pressure drop numbers of .5 at 15 psi and 1 - 4 at 35 psi (which I doubt they actuall...

Its anytime i'm boosting, I may try a boost controller just to see if I an get the noise to go away. I want to pin-point it. There are so many vacuum lines on this car, i want to make sure i'm not leaking somewhere else.

And yeah, I figuerd it had to be before the turbo. Thanks.

Since I hooked this up, I now have a "flapping" noise whenever I am at 0 psi or greater. Do our wastegates tend to make this noise when the actuator is acting normal, or could this be from me having the bottom hose not connected to a vacuum source, and that air is coming out of there. Finn...

Fender help

So I need to find a fender (front passenger) for my 1991 Legacy Sport within a week or two. Mine is rotted, and the entire car is getting scratch/dent/rust removal, so I am going to replace this fender before I paint it. Can you guys tell me what years and what Legacy types will have the same fender...

Re: FS: Subaru stereo/steering rack and more!

* Subaru CD/Tape player from a 99 Impreza RS - $40.00 Would this fit a '94 Legacy L? As in, plug and play? As for the radio size, yes, but you would still need the electrical adapter for our cars. There is a site (the URL slips my mind) that sells the conversions for any car to any other car radio....

I'll try get pictures today, I believe it has the entire tierod section, it just needs that one boot fixed/replaced, as it has a tear in it. It was after it was removed though, the rack itself is perfect.
