I forgot to mention, you will need to add 6" or so somewhere in the system to fit the legacys. I usually lenghthened the mid pipe.

Re: Low cost (ok cheap) ebay exhaust
I have owned and installed quite a few eBay exhaust systems and have always been pleased. Deride and I ran them on both our SS legacys and ice raced them several times and really abused them and we never had an issue besides popping the Canon off the hangers.

^ if I had that turbo I would keep it too, I figure when i put my 255 in I can always upgrade from my 16g if I don't like it later down the road

Re: kimokalihi's 91 SS EJ20 Swap
I've been looking into different turbos quite a bit lately, and I really like the dyno graphs I've seen for a 16g on a 2.5l motor. There are guys making 350whp + with that setup and the power comes on nice and low in the rpm range I am about 90% convinced that when I pull my ej205 and replace it wit...

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
Well, it's been a good car weekend here. First we spent yesterday going to pick up my wifes new car after her beloved 2.5RS coupe was totaled out on a deer hit: 2004 WRX with a ej257, forged pistons, ported/polished 2.0 heads, GT52 element tuning turbo, HUGE TMIC, pro-torque stall converter, 133k mi...

Re: What gauge battery cable from engine bay to trunk?
Thanks for the pics. Why didn't you run at least equal size ground? I guess as long as the ground wire can handle more than the fuse you should be ok but I wouldn't rely on that. Well a lot of the setups I've seen just run 1 ground to the body in the trunk, so I figured the 4ga grounded 3-4 spots i...

Re: What gauge battery cable from engine bay to trunk?
I ran a 2ga power and 4ga negative when I did my first GT. I used a 50 amp fuse right back by the battery. I also grounded the battery 3-4 places in the.trunk and then 3-4 places in the engine bay. I ran a kicker distribution block in the engine bay, it worked really well, I saved everything from th...

wow, I hope you come out alright!
My wife has a 93' Classic that's in storage and I told her years ago when it went in there that I didn't want it to come out because it's smallness scared me.
What was the accident scenario?

I threw in my Autometer's this afternoon. I still have to hook up the oil and water, but I really only wanted the boost gauge in there ASAP so i could see what i was running. ^ that is SUPER badass! what scale is that? Re: Finally a real rwd option is in the works
Ok, this might seem like a crazy question, but after all the initial fab work and figuring things out, is there any thing done to the car that would make swapping this RWD setup any more difficult than a regular AWD tranny swap in regards to time and effort? the reason I ask is I've been scheming ab...
