I tried setting the backlash with the diff on the car after the fact. I did not realise the backlash was that important. 4EAT Front diff installation
Overhauled my 4EAT front diff and now I have groan while driving. Sounds like the crown gear and the pinion is not meshing properly. I was hoping to find some advice/tips on how to properly set the gears up when installing the diff assembly. BTW- I've done extensive searching on this specific topic ...
