Hey guys, haven't posted in a while but I ended up selling my Legacy to Revtronix. Just too much work for me as I already had a few projects on the go. It seems like they want to go ahead with the user-tunable chip first because it's tough to find test vehicles locally with the exact mods that peopl...

EJ25D complete shortblock
EJ25D shortblock with ~120k miles on it, has a bottom-end knock. Haven't tore it apart yet but probably a spun rod or main bearing.
This has a phase 1 crank and rods which can be used to build a stroker out of the 2.2 block.
Make an offer, will also consider parting it out.

EJ22T heads, intake
EJ22T heads, complete with valvetrain and covers. $75 obo.
EJ22T intake manifold, no sensors. $50 obo
Parts are from a running engine with 180,000kms/112,000 miles. Doing an EJ25D head/intake swap so these are not needed anymore.

Hey Onur, any news on the dyno numbers yet? The chips keep all the factory functions, nothing is disabled. There's no reason to turn off the adjustments. Got the engine out tonight, going to put it on the stand tomorrow and start the tear-down. I'm pretty frozen now. Even with the heater on, snow is...

I'm confident that the EGT's are fine. I've been abusing the engine since August like at these temps. Spark plugs look fine and there's no knock. Instead I damaged it from not enough oil. Doh! The engine is coming apart soon so I'll know how the pistons look too. High EGT's aren't what makes the eng...

The EGT is near the outlet of the passenger side manifold. Stock, I was still reading 800+C, so its not a big jump. It's more for making sure the turbo isn't getting too much heat. Actually, higher EGT's mean less heat is going into the pistons. So there's a balance between EGT's and spark timing. H...

Yup, all tuning is done on cars with the exact mods. No guessing here. That's why it will take more time to eventually get chips ready for each turbo. For upgrade cost, I'll have to talk to the other guys. I can say for sure that you won't end up paying the whole cost again. You can definitely get a...

The dyno operator said the spikes are probably from the tach pickup wire. It was just a pin pushed into the back of the coil connector and didn't really seem like a solid connection. The Revtronix website was updated today with the Stage 2 chip, so you can buy it now. Here's the 2nd dyno sheet, I ha...

Just got back from my vacation, thought about what to do with the engine. I think I'm going to put in forged pistons, STI rods and race bearings. I want to eventually put on EJ25D heads + VF22 and swap the engine into a GC chassis so I can have my own 22b-ish replica. :D OK, here's the data files. I...

This is a very kind gesture and I appreciate it! I would never have expected this from someone I've never met! But please, don't send me money it wouldn't feel right at all! I made the decision to use my car as a test vehicle and it was really my own laziness that caused the damage. I don't think de...

I'm pretty sure it was already low, there's a small oil leak from the cam seal on the back of the passenger side head. I changed the gasket but I should have also done the two smaller ones on that housing. Last time I filled the oil I checked it again after a month and there was no noticeable drop. ...

EDITED: I read the dyno sheets wrong, hp numbers corrected a little lower Aaagh, well...good news and bad news... :? I got 3 runs in, started off with the Stage 2 17 psi (peak) tune. The first run didn't record because the dyno tach signal wire wasn't hooked up right. 2nd run was the good news, numb...

Mmmm, its tuned to match the compressor flow map, midrange peaks at 17psi then comes down to 13psi to keep reasonable turbo shaft speeds. If you look at the flow map, 17psi at midrange flow is within the 70% lines and well below the max speed line. The result is a lot more torque than before. This i...

So the Stage 2 tune on VF11 turbo is done, I'm going to set up a dyno session this upcoming week. I have the ability to switch between a 14.5 psi and 17 psi tune. I don't know if anyone else has the Stage 1 tune yet. Maybe they are just waiting for dyno numbers. I think most people are interested in...

Yes you're right its not a large company and is a lot of work to run for just a few people. I'm basically representing the manufacturer here as they are busy taking care of the reverse engineering development and daily transactions. I'm also sort of a representative customer too so it works out well...
