Re: Complete EJ22T for sale/partout

I'd be selling you everything from the flex plate to the propeller shaft. Does that make sense? (Not including the flex plate or the prop shaft)

if you just need the center diff i may be willing to do something for you.

Re: Complete EJ22T for sale/partout

To be completely honest Dubs2.2 I never had a chance to drive the car that it came out of. I bought the lump from a wrecker and they stated that it the car got whacked in the rear quarter and was totaled by insurance and that it ran and drove. I did find a cracked cylinder wall in the block though.....

Re: Complete EJ22T for sale/partout

I'd do it for $300 shipped. How's that sound? You may have to replace the dipstick tube because it's leaking, but that's about it.

Do you need the torque converter thingy that goes between the input shaft and the flex plate?

PS: it has 110,000 miles :)

Re: Complete EJ22T for sale/partout

I hear SLC has the highest percentage of single women compared to single men. Maybe I'll deliver it strapped to my roof rack. :D

I'll get back to you on shipping. I expect it to be less than $100. What do you think is a fair price on the transmission?

Re: Complete EJ22T for sale/partout

Hey I checked out the VF11 it's going to need a rebuild, it's pretty hard to turn but nothing wrong with the blades. You might be better trying to find a TD04.

I do have the transmission still.
Can it go to a business address? It will make shipping much cheaper.

Re: Complete EJ22T for sale/partout

I still have the AC compressor. I am not sure if it works, all I know is it came out of a running car that was in an accident. The compressor pully spins freely but since it's clutch based it will anyway... so I'm not too sure how I can really be sure if its functional or not. I have no reason to be...

The oil is golden brown with no contaminants... $750 for everything you see in that picture $500 for complete short block $100 for the heads $10...

Complete EJ22T for sale/partout

So I've got a complete EJ22T and when I say complete I mean complete. It has 110k miles on it and needs a timing belt. I'm on the fence about boosting my 96 L versus going the H6 route but this thread isn't about that. If I get enough interest in parting out my ej22t then I will. I'd rather people b...

Yeah, silly me. I was under the assumption that all ej22e have top feeds.. but I guess it's only phase two. I'm still learning over here!

Re: Sorry all for the newbie question...how do I identify a

Alright. Well, the ej22t is going to sit on my engine stand while I build and tune my megasquirt on my stock ej22e. I'll be selling off the bits that I don't need such as VF11, power steering pump, alternator, ac compressor, autotragic tranny to fund the other stuff. Someone is offering me a TD04 fo...

Very cool. Do you have a link to your build thread or info on your setup? I can't seem to find one in the build journals section and I don't want to pester you with questions about your setup.

Re: Sorry all for the newbie question...how do I identify a

Meyagi, quit stalking me! It's either here, RS25, Facebook, or Mainely Subarus LOL. I have heard the 22T heads don't flow all that well but I'm hoping to get away with it for the time being. I'm trying to do this for cheap without cutting corners, and upgrading to DOHC heads doesn't make sense to me...

Re: Sorry all for the newbie question...how do I identify a

Simple. It's tinnie tiny. Heh. That and the cold output side is clocked at 45 not 90 like most turbos. ooh good tip! I'm trying to decide what turbo to use. The TD04 is easy and cheap, but I want to be able to go as high as 250 whp without running the turbo too far out of it's efficiency range. Sad...

Sorry all for the newbie question...how do I identify a VF11

Hey all, I just picked up a complete ej22t and the turbo looks rather new-ish. What's the easiest way for me to determine what turbo it is? I'm having trouble finding any meaningful markings through all the grime. Forgive my EJ22T newbie questions. I just bought this thing and I am about ready to st...
