Ill check the dogbone, im assuming that is the brace that bolts onto the tranny then onto the car? It seems the problem might be getting a bit smoother; im trying to keep the RPM's a bit higher when im letting the clutch out, which makes an improvement on the shuddering. Anyways I'm gonna swing by t...

help.. strange things after clutch replacement!

I recently took my 92 L wagon 5 speed manual to a local subaru shop to have the transmission serviced. They ended up putting in a new clutch kit, surfaced the flywheel, and adjusted the cables. After I got the car out of the shop I noticed right away when I would ease out the clutch in 1st gear from...

Thats what the guy at the muffler shop suggested. Ill take some photos of the new muff ... he did a great job installing it, looks sweet too, but she really makes a lot of "CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG". So hopefully a resonator will fix that!

With the new muffler is almost scary loud. Sounds like a tractor. I Didnt realize how much the stock muffler cut down the exhaust note... Might be putting it back on in a day or two

New muffler installed today, rattle under the hood? *PICS*

Just got a new muffler (wicked flow 1 into 2 out) on my 93 legacy n/a .. but now there is a harsh rattling somewhere at the beginning of the exhaust system when i let off the gas. Kinda sounds like an exhaust leak but with the stock muffler there was no problems. I was thinking it might be because t...

actually i checked to see if it had a snorkus earlier today, and it seemed like there was a bunch of molded plastic up inside the fender which connected to the airbox, which im assuming is the snorkel. How do you get this out though?

yes, i love her amazing gas mileage as well. I get around 31 miles/gallon at cruising speeds, which is the best out of any car ive owned. Im just craving that deep growl out of the rear end .. And not the one after chili dog night. =)

Well I'm definetly going to be putting a nice muffler on it this week, but i guess what im really trying to figure out is if adding larger pipes from the cat back is worth it or not. (for better power as well as sound)

would it be better then to just use the factory piping and only replace the muffler to get a better sound out of it?

Hey all, this is my first post here. I bought my first subaru a couple months ago and I couldnt be happier with it! Anyways Im looking to install an exhaust system on it, and was reading around on the forum and noticed that the WRX/STi pipes can fit on these cars? Would the exhaust flange on these n...
