Power steering help
I don't know what section you want this in. But I need some info on power steering lines. Are the NA legacy power steering lines the same as the Turbo power steering lines? Need to replace mine but the dealer price is outrageous and NAPA only has NA lines listed, but price is much more reasonable. T...

Miss-firing
Car has started miss firing under high boost (15+). I'm wondering if putting an MSD coil in would help fix the problem. Running a 20g Rob tuned ecu, with ignition converter.
thanks.

WTB: EJ22t Intake manifold wiring harness
Looking for a intake manifold wiring harness off of a EJ22T (the one that runs under the intake manifold: injector plugs, IACV plug, etc.) If you got one available that is in good condition (not cut) let me know.
Thanks.
Logan
Thanks.

Re: VF43- what do i need to make it work?
I've heard of people running up to 25psi, but that is probably getting out of its efficiency range. I don't plan on running anymore then maybe 22psi with mine, i'm at about 18-19psi right now.

Re: VF43- what do i need to make it work?
That's what i did except I still haven't put my wideband in but I ran it on a full 3" exhaust. Clusters should be the same between the two.

Re: VF43- what do i need to make it work?
You don't need the engine and I can't remember the cost off the top of my head so you'd have to talk to him. i made a conversion harness to made it work with the 22t setup.

Re: 1993 SS: Update time!
I like 17's over 16's personally. Right now my right foot is my horn (the wheel didn't come with the retaining ring for the button so it just falls through. The hub works perfectly but I need to be a spacer in there because it is rubbing on the steering column cover.

Re: VF43- what do i need to make it work?
oh and i've talked to Dom at Maxwell Power Services (look them up if you've never heard of them) here in Washington and he said that the VF43 and 22t is one of his favorite engine/turbo combos.

Re: VF43- what do i need to make it work?
I LOVE THE VF43, on stock ecu and my 20g ecu, it spools up incredibly fast. The only way you can run a JECS MAF is if you can track down one of the old Revtronix chip setups or get a 20g ecu that is tuned by rob. I'm running the 20g ecu that is tuned by rob with STI 550cc injectors, jecs maf, walbro...

Re: VF43- what do i need to make it work?
Right, the stock 22t ecu doesn't run it to it's full potential but you can still run it. I got a MAF code when I ran mine (stock hitachi maf) and I assumed the turbo was just maxing it out.

Re: VF43- what do i need to make it work?
look at my car. I ran the VF43 on my car with stock ecu and injectors w/ a top mount for awhile. Then I eventually switched to a front mount, and now with a 20g ecu and sti injectors. to just make the turbo fit you will have to make some kind of a 90 degree for the turbo inlet and then you stick a p...

1993 SS: Update time!
So my car took quite the beating this winter (taking out a curb, half my exhaust manifold coming off, etc.) so I started collecting new parts for it to make it happy again. Here's my list so far: Engine: Apexi intake custom aluminum intake elbow custom front mount APS 50/50 BPV STI 550cc injectors J...

Re: EJ20G "RobTune" Info
I bought a Hydra Nemesis 2.6 for the legacy...... Dont get me wrong, I LOVE my 20G ecu..... BUT i want to go with a 30R and Rob said hes not going to be doing a MAF and injector upgrade for some time. On the bright side, I get to put my MAF in the garbage since the Hydra is MAP based :) Oh I totall...

ACL race bearing info:
So I finally bought new engine internals but I'm still stuck on bearings. I want ACL race bearings, but ACL also offers standard sized bearings with a .001" extra oil clearance. Has anyone ever run these bearings and do you think they would be ok to run for a daily driver car? thanks for the in...

turbo head gasket compressed thickness?
I am wondering what the thickness of the turbo (stock not cometic) head gasket is when compressed. I did some searching and one said .059 and someone else said .065, but I need to know which it is.
Thanks.
Logan
Thanks.
