Well I today while driving I put the car in neutral and held the rpms at around 5k and it got richer, hitting about 12 on the gauge, rather then 18 during launch control.

hmmm the only way I can think of turning off Launch Control would be to be at a slight role so the car thinks I am moving enough so it won't allow boost to build.

But good idea. I'll give that a shot today.

I was just sitting in my drive way and brought it up to about 5 lbs and the need was pegged at 18, then went out to a back road and did it again and did a launch, pegged at 18 again, but then drops to 11 when I actually start moving (I think, hard to focus on gau...

No, I'm talking about taking the canister out completely. Whether its 2 port NA or 3 port turbo the damn thing takes up equal amount of room. If the purge solenoid isn't being used, what's the point of having it?

So with the pin47-6 purge control being removed from this ecu, do you think it's possible to remove the charcoal canister to help free up some room under the hood?

Has anyone removed the charcoal canister from there Tleg after putting the 20g ecu in? The 20g ecu doesn't use pin47-6, which is the purge control for our cars. If this was removed it would help free up a little space in our cars.

Just a thought.
