how is the alternator tested on these cars ?
i have an amp meter , what are good readings and which are badd , what should i be checking to determine a faulty alternator ?

ok so the car ran for 20 sec before failing again after it sat for a few hrs then no juice for restart

i got a quick jump and from there i managed to make it bak to where i live without letting the idle drop for stall

once parked again no juice for restart - i m leaning toward batt

so i leave work for a 15 break and slam up the road for some fuel and a quick boost , i leave the fuel station a bit hard and rock it back to work - at the lights the engine idle dies , car wont restart , battery has no juice it s kinda sad and a little funny to leave the car stranded cause this wil...

there is water accumulating in the trunk where the jak is normally :evil: when i got the car it was filled completely and i shop vaked the water away i repaired the holes around the outer rim of the hatch where i thought the water is leaking in from and now it is permanantly sealed and still - water...

What it really comes down to is if you are handy with a welder, or if one of your friends are. ok - so after looking around and prodding other leaky posts i m pretty sure this leak is going to be a contribution of the oil return + front seals and possibly the valve seals also just looking at the oil return on this car makes me nachos it nasssty pretty sure it s dripping right onto the headder...

DSM turbo with welded wastgate - TD05 H 14b

i have the unique opurtunity to grab a TD05 h 14b turbo and and a bov for 80 $$ from a local enthusist

the turbo was used for a eagle tallon with a welded wastegate

- how difficult is it to mach up a gasket and mounting brackt for this turbo for the 22T piping ?

is it managable to perform work on the motor while it s in the car ? - if not i guess an engine lift is in the near future

in that case it s an overhaul

i m looking to doo some quick work before it is too cold to work on it outdoors
