just as always, you guys were right. I was under the impression that resetting the ecu would automatically clear the codes, but I guess I was wrong. So, I cleared the codes and now its just a matter of waiting till the light comes on again. Thanks for not jumping down my throat like a bunch of nazic...

^I've left the battery disconnected overnight and pumped the brakes after disconnecting and before reconnecting, so I'm pretty sure the codes are fresh.

^like I said, I reset the ecu and the CEL goes away for weeks. do you mean there is a way to clear codes without resetting?

Ok, so heres the deal. bought a 92 leggy turbo with 280 000km 3 months ago or so, since then the CEL has come on about 3 times. The first couple times, I just reset the ECU and the CEL stayed off for weeks or more. The last time it came on I read the codes and got the following... 11= crank angle se...
