just as always, you guys were right. I was under the impression that resetting the ecu would automatically clear the codes, but I guess I was wrong. So, I cleared the codes and now its just a matter of waiting till the light comes on again. Thanks for not jumping down my throat like a bunch of nazic...

Ok, so heres the deal. bought a 92 leggy turbo with 280 000km 3 months ago or so, since then the CEL has come on about 3 times.
