OK, can you help me understand this: the larger injector in cyl 4 is there to cool down that cylinder a bit because it naturally runs hotter than the other three cylinders, correct? Apparently with the MS, that cylinder runs slightly lean (not enough fuel). Running lean will cause the temp to go up...

I've done a little bit of reading about stroking the 2.2 with either the .20 overbore or .40 overbore pistons and I came to the conclusion that it just doesn't make sense unless the cylinders need to be bored to make the block usable, you want a stroker to make your car unique, or you have compatibl...

Anyone running one of these at elevation? I'm at ~5000ft. I think I'm going to get the stage 2 chip and run that with my turbo and injectors for a while, should keep me happy while I finalized my plans for swapping the heads.

You'll need a full rotated turbo kit to make it work ( EWG, uppipe, downpipe, etc). Definitely won't fit in the stock location.

A GT35r is pretty damn big for a 2.2, I don't think it would be very drivable.

Not only that but it's slow as fuck for anything that uses a lot of javascript.

And with FireFox you can use Adblock Plus. I don't think I've seen a banner ad in about 3 years.

If you decide to split things up I think you'd have some luck. Most folks here don't need the short block.

Have you considered buying new carpet and cutting it to fit? That's what I would do, rather than put in 15 year old carpet.

Are you all gen x'ers? Sorry, I just think most of this sounds like tired cynicism. We have it pretty damn good in this modern age compared to 100 or 200 years ago and all I hear is complaining. Yes, we have some problems. I'll take the perils of Wal-Mart over dying from dysentery. Good luck with yo...

Go read all the threads in the sticky at the top of the suspension forum and you'll get a pretty good idea of what's what. It'll make your head spin with all the info, but it's fairly comprehensive.

It's possible that the bearings in the motor are seized and are preventing you from cranking it. I think this is more likely than it being corroded since your car seems to be in decent shape, and if a kid was playing with the buttons or blocking it from closing it wouldn't be hard to stress that mot...

I need the popup deflector from the sunroof. Specifically I need the passenger side leaf spring thing that sits inside the rail for the glass and pushes the popup deflector up. I've checked two parts cars locally and it's been broken/missing. Let me know if you've got one.

The "bad" motor runs but has slightly lower compression on two of the cylinders (previous owner said it had a bad head gasket). My crazy plan is to put it in the back seat of a chopped top VW Bug using a 2WD subaru tranny and have the radiator where the original bug engine was. So once it...
