Some good advice taken and will try these things. One thing, when this starts acting up, the idle is erratic. Goes from around 500 to 1000 rpm. But when put in drive, it is stable until I get to any speed. Also, when in neutral, I rev up the engine a bit, say to around 1600 and quickly release, it s...

Engine Stubles & Misses ?
Here's one the dealer can't figure. Maybe some of the "Gurus" on here can help. I have the 00 Legacy 4 dr sedan with the 2.5 engine w/auto trans. Here's the problem. There are times that the car will run great, engine runs nice and smooth, trans shifts normal. Then, out of know where, the ...

Here's a how too on the spark plug Non-Fouler or Anti-Fouler I found. http://www.energeticforum.com/renewable-energy/1387-o2-sensor-modification-using-spark-plug-non-foulers.html I found this link after starting this thread. Is there a certain type/number of this O2 simulator I should get? Or does a...

O2 Problem
About 2 months after getting both O2 sensors replaced at Pep Boys, (I know, my bad) the check engine light came on. I went to 2 different places to have the codes checked, & both places said that the "Cats" are bad. Then I went to a friend of a friend to have it checked out, and he tol...
