I had custom pistons made for my 2.2t stroker with 20K heads...there JE pistons with a 8.5:1 CR...talk to Dominic at http://www.maxwellpowerservices.com/
tell him what your wanting to do and he can hook you up...IIRC the pistons w/ coating ran me about $750

I know know why you gave up on the 2.35L....after sourcing up parts I came up with $2650 for billet crank, h beam rods, and custom pistons....lol

update he sold me the 2.5L crank and rods and the 2.2T sb...and I have looked it up and looking close to $500 for H beam rods and $1000 for new 8.5:1 weisco pistons and rebuild kit...I have bigger dreams than spence...lol...Turboxs FMIC, Blouch Dom 4, ej20K heads, water/meth, PE 850cc injectors ...
