Basically, I found a 95 FWD tranny with 70k on it for only $200. I'd like to try to put that inbut dont want to run into issues with harness connectors or TCU

Anyone had this problem? I have a problem with my car and I can't tell what it is because the check engine light doesn't work. Can you hook our cars up to an OBD1 computer?

Thanks guys ... I'm also going to try replacing the Cam and Crank sensors. The car only has around 60k original miles on it, but it sat for around 6 years. There were a lot of rotted lines underneath when i got it so I'm thinking maybe the crank sensor is rotted and shorting to ground when it's wet....

well your def burning oil. From the piston rings or the valve seals ... or BOTH ... that's a different story. You can replace both in one shop really and the parts arn't much. But it's labor intensive and requires a moderate amount of mechanical knowledge and aptitude

I'll tell you what, I've been in ... oh ... about 8 accidents not counting motorcycle accidents. Everyone of them was in a early 90's Import. I've got T-Boned by someone doing 60 on the passenger side, T-Boned by someone doing 75 on the DRIVER side ... flipped a car doing 70 without a seatbelt on .....

no your right ... you can add the factory tape deck/cd player to most factory deck but the plugs are completely proprietary. you can swap ANYTHING in as long as you wire the harness in. Meaning ... if you want to put a Dodge Viper radio in and you get the harness you could. They're actually not THAT bad. Normal plugs are a little white ... as aposed to black ... those look like your getting a little oil blow by. Either from piston rings or valve seals. Decided to put all the wheels on and drive it around just to be sure. It drives awesome. I'll have to drive it more to pinpoint exactly what, but I def noticed a nice difference.
