Hurray for burning out my 4EAT! questions ...

Post by Xander_X »

I haven't been on in a while guys. I'm a broke and busy Law student now. I just burnt out my 91 Subi's auto tranny. As I said I'm poor now so I can't afford a new car and I really can't afford to spend a lot on a tranny.

I need to know exactly what year and model Subaru's I can take a tranny from and put it in there. Thanks People!

Oh yeah ... and it's 2WD

Any 90-94 Legacy FWD trans should be a directly plug & play deal. You would likely be able to use the FWD trans out of the 2nd gen Legacy & 1st gen Impreza until Subaru discontinued them. However I'm not exactly sure what may have changed.
