So just to clarify, I could use any 5mt driveshaft from either a legacy wagon or sedan N/A non turbo from the years of 90-94 possibly up to 98? I've seen a few N/A 90-94 leggy 5mt for sale here.

so mike-tracy if it was short and popped out couldnt i just get a spacer machined to make up the difference? like sandwitch it between the propshaft and diff?

awsome info guys! What i may do is use a 91-92 5spd. I have 2 of them, one with good gears but cracked case, and one with good case and broken gears. hopefully i can make 1 good tranny from that lol. Im gonna crack them both open this weekend and see. ill update as i go. thx again guys!

i can take some closer pics of the rear lip for you guys, but just so you know there is quite the amount of trimming and fitting to make it work. just take it slow and remove the material bit by bit till you get the shape you want.
