Are the cam and crank position sensors available?

Yeah, I plan to do that after checking prices for new cam and crank sensors yesterday. $100 for the cam sensor and $225 for the crank sensor! I will probably get just one injector for now and see what happens.

On second thought, if the car loses signal from the cam and/or crank sensor, it will probably shut the engine off, correct? I meant to update this thread earlier, but didn't get around to it. I got a MAF from gijonas and installed it a couple of weeks ago; it seems to have fixed the problem!

I might think so, except that there were no codes stored in the ECU for that; the only "new" code was for the MAF sensor.
