New Prodrive rear springs
So, I went autocrossing this weekend. It was really fun except for the fact that I have a stock ss... I realized that I need new suspension bad. I found a set of prodrive rear springs for $50. Should I do it? Would I need to get a new shock or just keep my old ones. Never done any suspension ever so...

Gauging Intrest : 1992 Legacy Turbo 5 spd
So, I'm looking at selling my 92 turbo. it has 200,640 miles. Second gear grinds a bit when you are really driving hard, but otherwise its fine. The center console has been fully replaced with new stuff. The radio is perfect but has no back speakers. The interior is nice but has a few scratches. The...

Another question that Dad has and I'm not positive about:
Do you have to do any extra tuning when putting an intercooler on? Simply, will the computer be messed up, or will it all go on no problem?

Would you mind pulling out the antenna wire out from the radio to the antenna? The last guy that had my car cut off the antenna plug to the back of the radio. If it's too much work, let me know.

Yeah, it looks better now, I've replaced both door handles now, so it looks better. I also completely cleaned out the interior. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

TMIC on ej22t '92
So, I have a '92 leggy with the ej22t engine. I would like to put on a TMI. What should I look for that would fit my car without any major modifications? I'm looking at getting the apexi boost controller and would like to have some extra cooling. I'm hoping to get just an air to air, if you think th...

Always look at the easy things first... You'd ahve been really upset to swap out the diff adn still ahve a problem.... But I'm glad it was an easy fix. Car probably sat with teh E-brake engaged and that side stuck? If you were closer the wrecking yard I P/T in has a 2.5 in a Forester that I could g...

the ebrake does not use the caliper I knew it. That's why I said I was fairly certain. However, I still don't think that that is the problem because the wheel still moves about 1/16 of a turn in either direction. After the 1/16 of a turn, I hear a metal to metal contact and the wheel moves no furth...

sounds like a seized wheel bearing to me... that or a locked emergency brake/cable Thanks for the reply, I am fairly certain that the e-brake is not the problem because the caliper was completely off when I checked if the wheel could move, however, I don't know if the e-brake uses the calipers or s...

Remove the wheel and the brake caliper and see if you can turn the axle using a pry bar between the lugs. That should tell you if it was a seized caliper or wheel bearings. Actually you'll probably know if it's a seized caliper when you can't get the caliper off lol. Well, I took the caliper off an...

92 legacy turbo rear differential locked up
So I just bought a 1992 Legacy S with a 5 speed manual. I found out that the rear right wheel doesn't move. I figured that the caliper was just stuck, no biggie. Took the caliper off today and guess what, the wheel was still not moving. uh oh. So, my question is: what do I do now? Should I replace t...
