Hi, I got your message. I read what you say your having problems with. The problem I had with my 91 legacy was a bit different. Mine didn't have power at the blower motor either. (On any speed) It turned out to be the blower relay. (Behind the steering column) Sorry I can't be more help.

The number on the old relay that I removed is (056700-5260) 12 V 22A Now as I said before, my blower fan wouldn't work on any speed. So maybe some of you have a different type of heater related problem. Hope this helps.

There is also the Main fan relay which is located way up under the dash by the steering column. (It is snaped in a bracket like a Four Way Flasher.) Last year my fan didn't work on any speed, and that was the problem. It is a round silver relay with a white bottom and has a 4 prong connection. I hop...

wrx shifter?

I've read some of the threads about WRX shifters, but didn't find the answer to a question that I have. I bought a stock shifter assembly that was removed from a new WRX. Is it a direct fit into my 91 legacy 5 speed turbo sedan? Do I have to modify the linkage or anything else?

No, I haven't actually seen gear lube pushing out of the differential dipstick tube. It's got gear lube all over that area so I thought it might be some part of the problem. Do torque converters make these type of noises when they go bad?

Gear lube is coming out of the passenger side dipstick tube. It has the whole side of the case covered in gear lube. I plan on draining the differential oil tomorrow to see if there are any metal shavings in it. Ciper do you know if anything moves in the differential when your in Park or Neutral? It...

the one on the passenger side. I didn't drain it yet. Nobody answered my question yet. Are there any moving parts in the front differential when the transmission is in Park or Neutral? Does anyone know?

noise in Park and Neutral

I have a loud grinding and whurling noise in Park and Neutral on my 94 legacy AWD automatic gt wagon that I just bought. The car moves and drives but it seems to jump and bind sometimes when you accelerate. The transmission has no codes stored and the transmission fluid seems clean and don't have an...

94 legacy gt wagon

I just have a couple of questions about a 94 AWD automatic gt wagon. Are there any differences in the drivetrain and or suspension than in a regular legacy AWD wagon? All that I noticed so far is a rear sway bar. Thanks

Can I just replace the shifter with a good one? If so, is it easy to change complete shifters? I thought maybe someone new where I could buy a good used shifter cheap.

sloppy shifter ?

My 91 awd 5 speed turbo has 282,000 miles on it. The shifter is quite sloppy. What can I do to fix this problem? I found a 2003 WRX shifter, will this fit my 5 speed?

91 auto tranny swap

I have a 91 legacy n/a awd sedan and have a couple of questions. First, are 92-94 automatic transmissions better than 90 an 91's? My Subaru dealer says they didn't have as many problems with the 92-94's. Next, if I put a 92-94 transmission in my 91 is all the wiring compatable with my 91 computer? A...

I tested each of the termonals inside that plug with the key on and the blower switch on and I don't have power in any of them. That's kinda why I ruled that resistor out. I checked the two fuses under the dash in the fuse box and there ok. I don't have power at the blower motor either. Any thoughts?

hey, my 91 heater motor won't work on any speed. So far I changed the speed control with one that I know works. Then I checked for power at the motor.( None) any thoughts?
