Re: lower control arm bushings
Well, unless someone convinces me not to, I think I am going to get either the Prothane or Energy Suspension kit and use the oem sleeves with a spacer. I think this may be an inexpensive route. Any preference or reasons to choose one of these products over the other? I have used Energy Suspension pr...

lower control arm bushings
I need to replace the large bushings on the lower control arms. This is on a 2WD '90 Legacy. I have searched for post on this topic and have read quite a few. From what I have read, removing the old bushing is somewhat of a chore, but it's the pressing the new bushing in thats difficult. I have used...

Re: Injector, ecu question
Thanks, Josh. Since you've already been down that road, that can save others the trial and error experience.

Re: Injector, ecu question
Thanks for response, Josh. Its good to know that I should be able to do a direct swap with no other modifications. What would I see/experience if the computer did think the tranny was manual? I am swapping out the harnesses. To satisfy my curiosity, do you think the '90 ecu would learn to run the re...

Injector, ecu question
I am swapping an EJ22 from a manual tranny 1992 sedan into an 1990 auto wagon. The engine going in has the red top injectors. I have read a considerable amount on this topic and am seeking clarification. From what I have read here and at USMB, I should use the ecm from the '92 to match up with the '...

Re: Clarifying rear strut mount availability
An update on the strut mount replacement. I ordered 2 Monroe mounts for '04 WRX Sti. Received them, and pulled the strut. Upon visual comparison, hat/spring angle was different. The mount had a nice thick isolator, but I wasn't sure if the rubber compression would be enough to compensate for the dif...

Re: Clarifying rear strut mount availability
I have continued to search and read and be confused, but perhaps I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. It has been said that the Sti '04 wrx rear strut mount will fit with '90 legacy with a little hole modification. Does this mean that any aftermarket mount for '04 wrx will fit the '90 leg...

Clarifying rear strut mount availability
I have an 1990 Legacy wagon FWD that needs a new rear strut mount(tapered spring type). I didn't think that was going to be a problem. I checked several aftermarket sites, all carry front mounts, no rears. Does any one know why? I did find an oem mount on a subaru parts site. I kept searching here a...
