Re: Which oil?
If he doesn't have an oil gauge he can watch the temperature of the engine. If its stock it has an engine coolant gauge. If the oil gets too hot it will thin out and not hold the same lubricity factors it once had. Which will cause the engine to overheat.

Re: Which oil?
Mineral based oil breaks down at 300 degrees. So keep an eye on that oil temp gauge if you are using synthetics. Heating oil over 225 degrees cuts the oil life in half and every 10 degrees over 225 cuts the life in half again for each 10 degrees. Running oil at at the temperature of 170 to 200 is id...

Re: No start plz help.
Did you relocate the connector or just the ground? If its just the ground what you could try is sand the frame if its painted (like they usually are. Subaru and their infinite wisdom of painting everything) after you sand it put a bolt or screw in the frame and wrap wire around it. If you relocated ...

Re: Fuse layout for 1990 Legacy L wagon. lost fuse cover
I know this might sound stupid...but it worked for me. When I bought my 90 Legacy L it came with two, yeah two, fuse block covers. They were both different. So i got on google.com and typed in my year make and model and then typed "fuse block" at the end and clicked on images. Sure enough ...

Question about drivetrain and suspension on non-turbo legacy
I own a 1990 1990 Subaru Legacy L with an EJ22E. I was wondering if Subaru changed the drivetrain or the suspension on the EJ22T. Even-though its the same displacement the only thing that has been changed is the compression ratio. (10:1 on N/A to 8.5:1 on the turbo. I want to turbo my car but I don'...

Re: What car/year is TD05-16g turbo on?
Just joined the forum. Ironically my buddies and I were just talking about the mighty TD05-16g turbo. It was installed on the 2.0 liter Subaru's, but it was also installed stock on the Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX and GST. Even-though the trim is the same size the Mitsubishi used a ball bearing ( i think)...
