If you're looking to install a WRX or STI engine you're in for a whole mess of work including an ECU, Harness and Dash swap. They're great little cars. I would stick with the stock EJ22T and throw some DOHC heads on it, larger turbo, some form of engine management, larger injectors, 3" exhaust...
