Re: Dead Engine

So, the twin turbo is a pain. Then again so will the single turbo from what I'm hearing. Any upgrade in power would be appreciated. The pain for me would be finding a shop that can handle the swap. Up north, there are many places that are Subie pros, in the south, early Legos are seriously hard to f...

Re: Dead Engine

I have thought about the twin turbo, and of course I'm intrigued. I see them on Ebay constantly. I do not know which version or year model to look for. Of course depending on which engine I go for, I might have to replace the tranny anyway. From what I found, the ECU with the twin turbo usually requ...

Well, my wagon has finally died. I have a 93 Legacy L postal wagon. I'm looking for my swap options, and any advice from the local pros. It is an automatic, and I have thought about swapping to a manual. I'm not in a huge hurry so, I don't mind spending some time looking for the right parts.

Re: How did you order a RHD Legacy Postal when it was new?

I also have a Postal with an AT. I bought mine used, and from the information I heard. They stopped selling the RHD models back in 1999. I am curious on how you got a 5spd postal, considering using a manual transmission is against postal regs. Nice find if I say so.
