Can I get some tips on rebuild kits and skift kits? Durability reliability and performance.

i was going to replace all the clutches and the brake bands inspecting the gears replacing the torque converter maybe with an OEM replacement for a wrx auto or something thats made for over 200hp. i want to make at least 220whp by next may.

on the same trip my 88 mustang 5.0 5 speed got 30.9mpg going 80-90 mph the whole trip.
