the hand brake uses a different set of pads than the normal brakes. There's a drum inside the rotor on the rear wheels with drum brakes inside. You didn't wear out your brakes and in normal operation the ebrake never gets worn at all. I believe there's an adjustment to bring the lever back to spec, ...

our endlinks (droplinks) are great. you can change how much slop they have by cutting the bushings in half and adding washers, or just using generic pu bushings from pep boys. since they don't rotate like the C endlinks, there's no perceptible wear (ive been running pu droplink bushings for 4 years ...

True, there may be more tendency towards understeer at the limit, but because there is more overall grip that limit is higher.... your evidence is contrary to your conclusion. All that other stuff you regurgitated is only true in a steady state turn on a perfectly smooth surface with no throttle or...

theres no way GT stands up to xbox's Forza or nintendo's Mario Kart series, as far as racing sims go. And ps controllers hurt my hands. The L2,R2 button hurt my fingers and squeezing those damn pressure sensitive 'shape' buttons make my hands ache when playing sims. I really can't figure how PS stay...

I'm not around much. I just don't care about eeking out 10-50hp out of a car, and i don't think hardly anyone on a message board can drive well enough to appreciate what their chassis/brake/suspension modifications have really done. Not to say there isn't some really fantastic individuals on here. I...

the assignment was to interview someone about an environmental topic and then write a report on the interview. the paper is all over the place because each paragraph deals with one topic that i was able to broach while doing the test drives. It was only a 3 page paper, so there wasn't much room for ...

hybrid car homework
i had to write a paper based on an interview for my environmental ethics class. Figured i'd stick it up on the web, to be immortalized and copywrited. Having wrenched on cars as a hobby and car owner for the last 7 years, hybrid vehicles have always piqued my curiosity. This curiosity took me to Ste...

Yeah, you should be fine. stock suspension would want a more rear biased brake set up than something that really hooks up. FWIW, i have rs front brakes and a wagon prop valve. I tried running wagon rear calipers (which would provide the same balance as stock) with the prop valve and found a little ...

I thought they were F-105s, but looking again, I'm not so sure. Did they have in-flight refueling variants? They go by too damn fast. I think the Iranians recently cloned the F-105 and gave it their own name. It may be some kind of Mig. I'm not as familiar with newer fighter aircraft. The jet kille...
