I remember (vaguely) hearing about legacy fuel pumps having a really common problem with corrosion in their electrical connections, maybe a relay or connector, perhaps the connector under the back seat, I can't remember. But anyways, I am always seeing people complain about how old legacy fuel pumps are really weak and don't put out the pressure they should and so on and so forth, I was thinking, this was kinda like the problem I heard about, it was said that a simply connection cleaning would fix it. Anyone know anything about this?
Much THanks

here's what i did to mine... Cutted the wires and did new connectors... as you can see, old connector was ruined, and almost dangerous for fire !!!
fuel pump was running intermittently.. one day car wouldn't start at all..
(this connector is located under the backseat)

Are those blue/red connectors next to the old burnt out ones the new fuel pump connectors you installed? Did this affect your car's performance before the connector cr@pped out completely?
Thanks

this improved car performance dramaticaly, since it wouldn't start at all !! hahah
yup those blue / red connectors are the new ones, cheap "Radio Shack" connectors.
Seriously, i cant tell if that changed car performance, cuz i changed the fuel pump for a 255l/hr at the same time.
