ventilation noise inside

Post by Wouter1973 »

Ok...I'm going to try to explain in some kind of Dutch-English again what problem I have
The small ventilation part on the drivers door, right under where the glas ends, at the front is making a lot of noise at high speed (about 75 - 80 mph, on the highway). It sounds like wind is coming through the little ventilation thing. There is NO noise on the passengers side. I noticed some kind of a rubber seal between the dash and the front door, that is supposed to close around the hole in the front door that provides the ventilation. It seems to close well, the rubber seems ok too. I think this noise is annoying, because nothing else makes noise at high speed. I like it quiet in the car so I can listen to the radio at low volume. So...anyone knows what to do about this or what causes this wind noise?

They have some good info on them. I haven't tried removing the triangle thing yet....but my wire trick did help some.
