Oil in coolant?

Post by Raven-J »

So now that I HAVE my radiator problem fixed, I'M having A problem with oil being in my COOLANT. I think it might be my turbo going out, but I'M not sure. Does anyone have any ideas?

well, I believe that's a potential place for a fluid mixture of that sort. Have you also been combusting coolant? (any white smoke from the exhaust?) Has your car ever overheated? Could also be the headgasket, or worse the head itself, thats another place the fluids are close together.

If its the turbo, rebuilding it is a possibility, but I'd see if there was obvious oil coming from its water return fitting before doing so.

Wait... what radiator problem was just fixed, and how?
