Hi guys,
I have an EJ20 that I think is form a Liberty RS - but how can I tell?
I know it's from an automatic and it has a VF-10 turbo. I have all the wiring harnesses, the ECU - everything - but I don't know where the engine identification numbers are. It also has the black AWIC.
Any ideas? How much power can I make with this motor if I simply crank the boost with the stock ecu. What are the limitations? What is the best bank for your buck for making more power?
This engine is being mated to a VIII STI RA tranny in an open class rally car.
Any input is highly appreciated.

If it has a VF10 then I think it's from a Legacy RS or GT. The Liberty RS came with the VF12.
