The fronts have different mounts in the middle and will need to be zip tied to the stock mounting location.

Hey Nuwan,

Where are you picking those lines up from? I've been kinda (when I think about it) looking for a source.

They will fit, Brat4by4 is right.

I not only have WRX SS lines but complete WRX brakes on my car.

thanks guys, i wanted to do the wrx brake swap as well, but the idea of not being able to use 15" rims didn't sit well with me

The SS lines from early WRX are perfect for our cars. Direct bolt on.
The rear brakes on our cars are better than WRX because they are vented
So I’ll swap only front. For WRX brakes you need 16’ wheels.
If any one need SS lines I have them for sale $95.00 shipped. (Early model WRX)

Digging up this old post regarding SS brake lines.

What model year WRX lines will work for both front and back on a 91 Legacy?

The OEM WRX lines are rubber though, so I guess were talking about aftermarket lines or lines from SPT.

Anyway, it would be nice to know where to get a SS set for my ride that will bolt in all around. I'm not too hot on the idea of my brake lines being held in place by a plastic zip tie.

SPT wants about $350 for a SS set right now, is that a fair price?

I think any WRX stainless lines work, but don't fit in the strut mounting hole, hence the need for zip ties or whatever. I have STi struts, so when I put on my WRX front brakes, the lines will fit right in.

WRX lines are longer than ours, at least in the front. I did the brake swap in the cold and dark so I reused the Legacy lines (which fit the WRX calipers fine).

Don't pay $350 for SPT stainless lines. I ordered my Goodridge lines for $120 from tirerack.com, although you can get ones for around $100. As mentioned above lines intended for earlier WRXs will work great-the package I recieved with the lines in it was labled for a 93-98 WRX.
