my new ride

Post by JasonGrahn »

Being that the headwork on my car is going to cost between 900 and 1,000; it's not something I can afford at the moment. The legacy has now been officially side-moted (not promoted, not demoted, just goals have shifted) to "project car" status.

Check out my new sweet sweet ride:

Image

It sports Kumho R700 Rally tires on OEM 14" steelies, PIAA HID lamps (more expensive then the car was purchased for, giving back to the owner), a muffler with a hole in it, H&R Coilovers, and H&R Trak+ Wheel Spacers. ICE includes Blaupunt stereo (giving back to the owner) and a bazooka tube (also giving back to the owner). What you also can't see in this picture are the Schucks TypeR seat covers (recent addition) and floor mats.

Gas milage is awesome. I've been driving it for two weeks on one tank.

I had one of those, in 92 Si trim. great car, and I got it cheap since it had no AC.

One of the best cars Honda ever made. everything fits in the back, and I got 32mpg all day long.

I enjoyed it right up until my ex-wife ran it into a rural ditch, flipped it, and skidded 150 feet into a front yard, nose plowing the whole way. Unhurt. I drove it for two years and 35,000 miles and it cost me $700, the settlement was so good on the total.

I forgot to mention, those rims are made of butter, I used to bend one once a month on potholes, and eventually realized I could bang the rim dent out with the wheel still on the car.

I wonder if old Subaru steels would fit - they were like tank tracks for the beating they could take.

So many of those little Hondas have been lost to accidents. Nice cars.

I can see an SCCA Rallycross placard and number on the door already :D

Steve, the only Subaru wheels that could fit that lug pattern would be Justy wheels, and they're all smaller than what he has now :?

A) 38mpg on my last trip @ ~75mph average
B) too low to rallycross
C) both wiper arms are shiny, you just can't tell from the picture. ;)
