Hey gang.
Vehicle:
1993 Subaru Legacy Wagon
Problem:
Bought a coolant temp sender (aka, little brass thing) to replace one that may be faulty, and cannot find where it is located. I -had- the chiltons manual, but cannot find it. Anyone with a picture or through description of location encourcaged to help. =)
Thanks a ton,
Chris Chirdon

There's a water manifold underneath the intake manifold. It goes from the front passenger-side corner (where the upper radiator hose attaches) to the rear driver-side corner (where a heater hose attaches). The coolant temperature sender and sensor are threaded into this water manifold on the passenger side. The one with a single spade terminal is the sender for the gauge, and the one with a brown 2-pin connector is the sensor for the ECU.

Great; I got the pics I needed from that SUBY manual site. Great resource, to be sure. I'll plop it in while I'm replacing valve cover gaskets, the pass side axle, and the spark plugs.
