Post by scoobydoo »

HA! got you to read my post. :P But seriously folks i need to know if the head bolts can be reused on a legacy turbo. Yes, ive searched and there seems to be a group that thinks you should and a group that says you shouldnt. What does the factory manual say? Im about to assemble my engine and im stuck here. please help me out guys.

The FSM says to replace.

I've been told by CCR Engine rebuilders that have quite extensive background rebuilding subie engines that you can re-use the bolts.

I don't know if the torque procedure is different though. May want to give them a call www.ccrengines.com

you can re-use them once. must replace if you go for a second time.
